Due to rapid growth within our Plant and Machinery Movement Division we are looking for experienced Machinery & Plant Movement Foreman / Supervisors.

 

Reporting to our West London depot, you will be working with our experienced and highly skilled lifting and plant movement teams.

The role will include travel to all parts of London and the south-east and will therefore involve time away from home.

 

As a minimum, the applicant will currently hold a CPCS blue card with Lift Supervisor qualification – Slinger signaller/Fork lift truck/MEWP/Telehandler certs would be advantageous.

Additional CPCS training is available for the right candidate along with our in-house minimum standard training.

 

The applicant must have a background of heavy machine movement, excellent safety awareness and be familiar with mobile cranes up to 750t capacity, Hiab lorry loaders, Versa Lift machines, hydraulic gantry jacking systems plus jacking and skating of high value assets to strict deadlines.

Our key areas of work revolve around factory relocations, bespoke lifting arrangements, Data Centre back up power and systems, Aerospace industry and the construction industry.

Our clients expect the highest standards of professionalism, knowledge and skills along with a willingness to adapt to changeable site conditions. The right candidate will therefore be able to conduct dynamic risk assessments and liaise with our Contract/Project Managers to effect on site solutions.

 

In addition to the above, the applicant will have the following attributes:

 

  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures at all times
  • Able to work on busy sites
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to communicate to the highest of standards with other team members to ensure an accident-free work place
  • Capable of working long hours including time spent away from home
  • Must live within a commutable distance of London

 

The right candidate will be working with the latest heavy lifting equipment backed up by the UKs largest independent crane hire fleet, uniform, safety equipment and mobile phone with personal usage allowance will be provided.

A progressive culture of safety awareness is maintained throughout the company and continual training will be provided to you.

 

Excellent rates of pay based on experience.
