This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in this fast-growing independent crane hire and plant/machinery movement company with depots across the country. Our Training Centre is accredited to deliver CPCS and the relevant NVQ’s and we also offer our own bespoke lifting courses to make the most of our industry experience.
We have a new vacancy for a Training Manager based at our Head Office in Avonmouth. You will be managing the Training Centre and the team of trainers and admin staff; and this will also include delivering some training yourself.
What We’re Looking For:
Oversee the day to day running of the Training Centre
Ensuring courses are run to appropriate standard and NVQ’s are administered correctly
Line manager of Training Centre Administrator and Trainer/Assessors
Business development of the Training Centre to maximise revenues
Hands on in carrying out some training or testing activities
Work with operational managers to assess training needs and compliance for all types of training including but not limited to CPCS, e-learning, crane familiarisations.
Additional training can be provided for the right person:
Experience of managing training at all stages from planning through to delivery, and it would be great if that is in the construction/plant industry.
A recognised plant/construction trainer qualification: CPCS or equivalent
Hold, or are working towards a qualification in Assessing NVQ’s
Awareness of industry standards and health & safety legislation
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office suite
Full driving licence is essential
