Reanna Edwards, Result Application Support Co-ordinator at King Lifting explains why she decided to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning and the success behind the morning:
"I decided to organise a Macmillan Coffee Morning after a friend of mines father died of cancer and he told me what an amazing help the charity was to him and his family. I had seen the coffee morning advertised and everyone was really helpful agreeing to bake cakes and take part. The coffee morning went ahead on the 4th October and was a brilliant success. Macmillan gives vital support to those who are facing one of the toughest times of their lives and everyone agreed it was a fantastic cause to support. We managed to raise £200.00 by selling cakes and we took part in a ‘Guess how many spots are on the cake’ game which was sent by Macmillan in my Macmillan Coffee Morning kit. Vanda from Accounts won star baker for her delicious Chocolate Orange Cupcakes. It was a great morning raising money for a great cause."

King Lifting supplied two 200t capacity machines to lift a 120 metre long steel truss weighing 75te into position at Aston Gate Stadium, Bristol. King Lifting used 1 x Terex AC200-1 equipped with 69te of counterweight and a Liebherr LTM1200-5.2 equipped with 72te of counterweight.
Trackway was laid on the pitch to enable both cranes to manoeuvre into there set up positions. Additional heavy outrigger matting was used to reduce the outrigger loadings to ensure no damage was caused to the pitch.
The works being undertaken by Bristol Sport involve a £45 million stadium rebuild which King Lifting has supplied various other capacity machines on site.
Please see video below of the truss being lifted into position.
We are delighted to announce that our fleet of cranes for hire has expanded and now includes:
