A donation by King Lifting to Bristol-based Hope Against Suicide this year will allow the charity to add two new mental Health responders to the team, enhancing the free mental health support the charity provides in the community.
Tristan King, Managing Director said “Hope Against Suicide is a grassroots charity that does amazing work to provide this service to support those in the community who suffer with mental health issues and/or are thinking of suicide, we are proud to support the work they do.”
Suicide is the leading cause of death in the under 35’s in the UK – statically one person in the UK ends their life by suicide every hour, with many others attempting to do so.
Clare Kemp, “We very much appreciate the support that King Lifting are providing and look forward to our new partnership. Together we can make a difference.”
Hope Against Suicides’ responders work in busy areas of Bristol and the charity also provides a follow up care service for those they have spoken to.
