150 tonne LTM 1150-5.3 mobile crane
Six new Liebherr cranes have been delivered, reinforcing our commitment to providing our customers with the best mobile crane fleet.

The new additions include two LTM 1060-3.1s, one four-axle LTM 1090-4.2, an LTM 1230-5.1, and two LTM 1150-5.3s, with one of these being a 150-tonne crane.

The two LTM 1060s, delivered in March, feature a three-axle configuration with a six-section, 48-meter main boom, topped by a 9.5 to 16-meter double swingaway fly jib.

Also arriving in March was the LTM 1090-4.2. This four-axle crane boasts a seven-section, 60-meter main boom, also topped by a 9.5 to 16-meter double swingaway fly jib. It can carry all of its 22.5 tonnes of counterweight in the UK.

The largest in this batch, the five-axle LTM 1230-5.1, features an eight-section, 75-meter main boom, complemented by an 11.5 to 20-meter double swingaway fly jib that can offset up to 40 degrees. Under UK STGO rules, the 230-tonne crane can carry 22 tonnes of its maximum 72 tonnes of counterweight. This is the fifth crane of this type operated by King Lifting.

The two five-axle LTM 1150-5.3s feature a six-section, 66-meter main boom with a 10.8 to 19-meter double swingaway fly jib. A seven-meter insert can be added between the boom nose and extension, achieving a maximum tip height of nearly 95 meters and a maximum radius of 72 meters. This 150-tonne crane can travel with 29 tonnes of its counterweight in the UK.

All units are equipped with Liebherr’s innovative refinery kit for enhanced safety in flammable gas environments, and Variobase® for improved safety and lifting capacities. They also utilize Liebherr’s ECOdrive and ECOmode technologies to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce emissions during operation and travel.
