Archie Pickles, 18, and Samuel Austin, 15, have won gold at the Acrobatic Grand Prix in Poland, representing Great Britain in the Men’s Pair (12-18) category. The talented duo not only claimed first place but also achieved the highest score across all pairs partnerships in their age group.

Archie and Samuel train at Splitz Gymnastics Club in Weston-super-Mare and have been competing together for three years. The pair are no strangers to success, having previously won back-to-back British Championship titles in the same category.

As all competitions are self-funded until the senior level, the boys relied on fundraising and community support to make this achievement possible. King Lifting is proud to have contributed to their journey by funding their competition kit.

“We’re delighted to see Archie and Samuel succeed,” said Tristan King, Managing Director of King Lifting. “Their dedication and hard work are inspiring, and we’re thrilled to have played a small part in helping them represent Great Britain.”

The boys also raised over £3,000 through a GoFundMe campaign to cover additional expenses.

Congratulations Archie and Samuel!
