King Lifting

Project description

We were contacted by Algeco as they were looking to build a modular McDonalds in Aylesbury, this is a normal for them however this site had some restrictions due to power lines being over the building. This ultimately ruled out the chance of lifting to position with mobile crane, these modules were 25t, 14m long 4.2m wide and 4m high. They approached us to enquire if there was a way we could move to position. After receiving some information and drawings our plan was to load modules onto our Enerpac skid system and slide to position. We would the jack the units up to release skid system and lower to final position.

This operation was completed over 3 days; original plan was 2 days however weather conditions day 1 did not permit any lifting. This was the first we have completed for them and now we have been instructed for another project of the same nature.
